Like I wanted to save money so I decided to do the oil change by myself, I managed to empty the oil tank and at the supermarket there is two kind of oil like canola and olive.

They say the canola is better because there is more omega3 but I wonder if omega 3 are totally important for cars, because car are not like humans.

So witch one should I totally choose ?

I have a 1997 Chrysler Cirrus LXi and i have to refill the oil like every 2-4 weeks. BIG oil consumption… well.. a few days ago I filled it and I didn't notice how much. Well it looks like its a quart over. I'm going to drain it tomorrow and refill but.. have I caused any damage with it in these few days? The light only comes on when its idling in drive. In park when the RPMS go up.. it goes off… or when I drive in general. I also noticed one time white smoke out of the exhaust too… someone please help me? This is my first car and I may have ruined it totally.

It's just not worth the effort, especially for a Nissan. You need to get airbags, you need to get many inspections, the list just goes on and on.

I have a 1993 Toyota Corolla LE 1.8 L and had the left CV Boot replaced about 2 years ago and when the mechanic was fixing my car he noticed that the right CV boot was cracked but was still fine but would have to be replaced eventually.

Today while driving all of a sudden when I was making a sharp left turn my car started making this very loud clicking sound, like something was stuck under my car/tire area so i pulled over and looked but couldn't see anything. I continued driving without any noises and then when I made a sharp right hand turn it did the clicking noise again. So I am confused as to why it is doing it when I make a right or left handed sharp turn since I had the left CV boot replaced 2 years ago. I am guessing the cause is the right CV boot has totally cracked and now causing a grinding when I turn either way?

I am supposed to be getting a new car (me paying for it) and my mother luckily is co signing for me. We asked how much a 2012 accent would be on her insurance they told me it would up it another $165 a month for me …. is that a little excessive? I am a 21 year old girl in college with a GPA higher than 3.0 I believe the company is Allstate …. would it be cheaper to find a company and go alone….. by the way in order to be on my mothers insurance the car has to be in her name.

I just got my first car and its a 93 honda accord lx. I wana know what I should do too make it faster, should i throw a V-tech into it? And if i did put a V-tech in it how would i do that and what else would I need to make it work. Do i need a new Transmission? I know a new air filter would help. but i also dont wana spend thousands on doing this. And i can buy a V-tech for 400 bucks i just need to know if itll work and what i gotta do. And theres also an exhast from a mitsubishi eclipse that i can get cuz i work at an auto salvage and its one of those fat ones that looks cool and makes it sound nice but can i just cut it off and have it welded to my car? Help MEE

Hello. I have an 1997 Ford Escort LX Sport. The check coolant light is on, and seams to stay on all the time. I live in Michigan, and it had been very cold here. The coolant looks to be at the right levels, but I have never replaced the coolant in the year I have owned the car. What should I try to do? Thanks.
