We are buying a new car and have the option to pay an additional $350 for fog lights. I have never used fog lights before and am wondering if its worth the investment (and of course, we only hit fog ocassionaly).
Do fog lights have a great benefit in aiding in visibility that justifies paying the extra $350 for them?
The car is a 2012 subaru impreza if it matters.

My 2003 Chevrolet Malibu is making this putt, putt, noise and cuts off, and sputters. Sometimes it even makes a loud backfiring noise when cranking it up. I know there is a problem with the motor, because I had it checked out by a licensed mechanic who told me that one of the lifters in the motor was broken or something. I am a female and don't know much about cars lol anyway, it also smells heavily of gas while driving and no gas leaks. Is it the fuel pump that needs to be replaced as well?

its a 95 toyota camry for $900. He said he put a lot of new parts under the hood (told me, i dont remember what though) I know one was a new radiator. Said it runs fine and has a clean title. The blue book value is around $2300 though so kinda wondering why he priced this low. Advice on what to look for when I view the car before purchase? thanks.

I'm looking at buying a cold air intake to put on my 2001 Honda Civic EX manual and I was wondering, what are some cons of doing this? I know it should increase horsepower and gas mileage, but is there a downside? Why don't companies put them in cars from the factory? I live in Mississippi so it's not like a frigid climate. My partner has put BP ultimate into our mini one late 2002 by mistake! , now I quickly read the manual and it said that the car can run on Ron 95 but it can also run on Ron 98 as it has a knock sensor thing? Lol, is everthing ok??? Will this damage the engine? She put in a full tank when it was just under 1/4 tank.
